Missing Piece of the Puzzle

I love topics that have more questions than answers. It makes the moment when you find an answer, that much better! Back in high school, we were assigned to write a senior essay. We had to choose a topic, then provide questions with an explanation that we thought answered some of the questions. The topic that I chose was the pyramids of Egypt. As I said, we had to answer some of the main questions regarding our topic. For example, how were they built? With what materials were they built? Etc. The questions are endless when talking about the Egyptians and what they did. Personally, my favorite is, how did the Egyptians know so much with so little? This is the number-one question that people should ask because Egyptians were able to mathematically calculate the pyramids to align with certain constellations in space! Freaky, right?! Keep in mind, their technology was nowhere near our technological capabilities, yet they were able to do it with a margin of error around zero to none. Another question I love to try to answer is, how did they build these pyramids? Each block on the pyramids weigh at least a ton, if not more! So how were they able to haul multi-ton blocks up to such heights?

Then stack them to create what we know now as pyramids? It just doesn’t add up. Somethings missing in this puzzle.

Personally, I believe they had help! You might read this and think I’ve lost my marbles but think about it. Why were the Egyptians so interested in the stars and what was beyond their reach? Why did they create these huge images in the grounds of crop fields that could only be seen if you were miles into the air? Especially since the inventions of aircraft weren’t even thought of yet. I believe that aliens or extra-terrestrial beings were of great help! It doesn’t sound as crazy as one might think if you really think about it logically. It would answer so many questions that we have about the Egyptians. That’s how they would have had the technological help needed to understand and replicate complex mathematical equations. The extra-terrestrial beings would be who the Egyptians were trying to communicate with by using the huge images considering nobody else is flying that high in the air at this time. Not only do I feel the Extra-terrestrial beings were of great help with the things that the Egyptians did. But I feel that the beings were of great help with the knowledge that the Egyptians acquired. For their time and resources, the Egyptians were undeniably smart and very intellectual! They had great mathematicians calculating the circumference of the Earth! Let me remind you they didn’t have calculators or satellites to aid them in these calculations. It’s just really captivating in my opinion. The thought that maybe the Egyptians were more aware of what is really going on around us!

Now yes, this is all food for thought, considering there is no stone-cold proof pointing the finger at E-T. But I do know that blocks weighing as much as the average car weren’t lifted and or moved with pulley’s, levers, and ramps! I do know that the Egyptians created huge images in crop fields for someone or something to see. And I do know that it is claimed that the Great Egyptian mathematicians calculated the circumference of the earth with their brains and sticks. So, what do you think? What is the missing piece of the puzzle?

My Favorite Hobby

We all have hobbies! Some more than others but more times than not we all have something that we like to do for fun. Mine would be drawing inventions that I later want to pursue or playing Fortnite. Fortnite is a game that requires you to think with strategy as you play so that you or your team can come out on top and win .Both are things that I consider to be hobbies because they are things that I do with my spare time when I have nothing else to do.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
